Since 1997, when we started the International
Education Consultancy services, we have
registered well over 5, 000 students for
the various qualifying examination necessary
for admission to American and Canadian
Universities and Colleges. We have also
placed majority of these students in various
universities and colleges in the United
States, Canada, France, Spain and South
Africa.
We register and prepare students
for the following tests:
- SAT I
The purpose is to help determine whether
a student is likely to succeed in
the first year of enrollment into
any institution of higher learning.
It measures the verbal and mathematical
reasoning ability of the prospective
student.
A very good score in the SAT I helps
you to access a scholarship. The score range is between 600 and 2400.
- Subject Tests (SAT II)
This measures the student's knowledge
and the ability to apply knowledge
in specific subject areas. Unlike
SAT I, it is usually required from
students wishing to attend IVY LEAGUE
SCHOOLS or the very highly competitive
schools.
- TOEFL
Is more of a general, standardized
test for both the undergraduate and
graduate students. This generally
tests the student’s English
proficiency. Colleges/universities
require this test as part of the requirements
for admission.
- PSAT
For the first time in the history
of international education in Nigeria,
M.E.T limited introduced into the
Nigeria education scene the PSAT/NMSQT
exam. Apart from serving as an introduction
to the real SAT, which is the basic
college admission test for all college
bound students, the preliminary SAT
or PSAT is also known as the NMSQT
(National Merit Scholarship Qualifying
Test) and used as an academic competition
for recognition and scholarship.
- GMAT
This tests graduate students who are
intending to pursue management related
courses. The overall score is 800.
- GRE
This tests all graduate students outside
management-related fields on verbal
reasoning and mathematics. The exam
consists of the analytical writng, verbal and quantitave reasoning sections. The New GRE score range is between 130-170.
GRE AND GMAT EXAMS are usually required
from graduate students seeking admission
for postgraduate studies in American
higher institutions of learning.
